‘Bow Tips’
2 hour workshop for anyone who is looking for pointers on bowing technique. Join the group to learn a new tune or two, in a relaxed space, where open discussion on bowing can grow ideas on skill and style. Sophia, who is guiding the workshop, has had a love of the fiddle since first witnessing fiddle music back when she was 7. Sophia has had the wonderful support of her teachers along the way and ‘30 odd’ years later continues enjoying playing; going to local sessions, being part of the long-standing ceilidh band 'The Mooncoin Barn Dance Band', standing in for other local bands and has enjoyed playing at festivals and folk clubs with local folk trio DevonBird.
