Raddon Hill Clog

Raddon Hill Clog ImageDancing on Saturday 22nd June

Raddon Hill Clog Morris dance in the North West tradition, which originated in the cotton mills and factories of the North West of England. The dances were practised by the factory workers and were danced on feast days, carnivals and holidays. Our costume is representative of the factory clothes, including hard wearing clogs, that were worn up to the 1930’s.
