The Teignmouth Folk Festival is pleased to announce Paddy’s Whiskers will be performing at this years event. “Paddy’s Whiskers play traditional Irish, Celtic and American music in their own upbeat contemporary style. The Teignmouth Folk Festival is pleased to announce that Teignmouth’s own Celt, will be performing at this years event. They can be seen on Saturday Afternoon on the Triangle Stage from 2:00 till 2:45pm and from 3:30 till 4:15pm. CELT are a high energy, traditional celtic 4 piece band. We are pleased to announce that “Windjammer” will be the support act for the Ian Bruce concert on Saturday night. “Windjammer are a contemporary folk trio, based in Plymouth, Devon. They play original material, along with new arrangements of traditional songs and tunes, and singing in three-part harmony. They are: Jake Sonny Rowlinson on vocals, anglo concertina and percussion, Jeremy Bunting on guitar, percussion and vocals, and Fran Rowney on piano accordion, low whistles, piano and vocals. We are pleased to reveal that “The Crows” will be performing at the the 2018 Teighmouth Folk Festival. Crows were formed in 1977. The formation arose from a meeting at the Anchor Folk Club in Benfleet. There were flyers advertising a concert featuring the folk supergroup Bandoggs. The guests at the club that night were a young duo from Swindon, Mick Ryan and John Burge.
